Malibu Country Estates

Malibu Country Estates is one of Malibu's few classic "suburban" neighborhoods, a look and feel carefully defined by restrictions on the properties there.  The area also has a semi-dedicated reclamation plant (shared with next-door neighbor Pepperdine University), giving it excellent water treatment compared to many of Malibu's older communities.  While not beachfront property, Malibu Country Estates 100+ lots are served by amenities like a public water supply, storm sewers, streetlights, and the close proximity of Pepperdine University's athletic facilities like pools and tennis courts, to which many residents can obtain membership-style access.  The community is also close to the center of town, minutes from some of Malibu's best shopping and dining, as well as the important Malibu Canyon Road, access to the 101 freeway into downtown Los Angeles.
