Broad Beach in Malibu California

The Broad Beach neighborhood is home to many celebrities, drawn to the area's relative remoteness.  This one-mile stretch of Malibu coastline includes over one hundred beachfront homes, most along Broad Beach Road, which was part of the original Pacific Coast Highway before PCH was moved to the bluff above. 

Broad Beach Road now joins PCH at the Trancas Canyon Road traffic light and then again a mile farther west.  Broad Beach itself is book-ended by the popular Zuma Beach to the east and Victoria Point to the west.  Owners of Broad Beach real estate belong to the Trancas Property Owners Association, which manages services like the security that patrols the beach. Broad Beach homes are served by a small shopping area at the corner of Trancas Canyon and PCH, complete with supermarket, coffee shop, and hardware store.
