Michael NovotnySpecialty: residentialMichael Novotny, who has served as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Prudential Malibu Realty’s Malibu and Topanga offices since 2001, has a wealth of experience in the local marketplace, both in management and sales, that has earned him a reputation as one of the most prominent and respected professionals on the Westside of Los Angeles.
Michael, who graduated Cum Laude from Pepperdine University with a degree in Business and Management, began his career as a Realtor in Malibu with a Beverly Hills-based real estate brokerage firm in 1983. Eight years later, he accepted a position as Vice President and Manager for another major real estate firm in the region and went on to join the management team for a national company in Malibu and Topanga prior to assuming his current position at Prudential.
Elected as President of the Malibu Association of Realtors in 1997, Michael received the highest award from his colleagues by being honored as “Realtor of the Year” in 2000. Known for his commitment to serving his community as well as his profession, he has served as a Public Works Commissioner for the City of Malibu, been Director and President of the Point Dume Community Association since 2006 and is also a member and Director of the City of Malibu’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
